    Dear Midwife,
    Hi! I just found out this week that I am pregnant. I can only be approximately 1 month or so and was taking a number of medications, including Vicodin and Xanax, until I found out I was pregnant.

    Is the baby going to be ok? I have stopped taking all of my medications? I am simply looking for a little piece of mind. I am unable to get into an OB for a while. Thank you for your help.

    I take Cymbalta 60mg daily and Ambien 5 mg daily. My OB said this was ok. She said that usually they try something like Zoloft with pregnancy, however, it was Category C like Cymbalta. Also, I have read some things about Ambien not being shown to be harmful but I just want to be sure.

    Dear Midwife,
    I am currently 8 months pregnant. I was looking on the internet about treatment of yeast infections and have seen many articles that say medication should not be used in the first trimester. I am really worried.

    When I was 6 weeks pregnant I my doctor prescribed a cream for me to use internally. Could this have hurt my baby? Would problems have shown up on my 5 month ultrasound? Was this safe since it was prescription? Thank you for your help.

    I am an American living in Cabo San Lucas in Mexico and while I was here I thought that I may have gotten amoebas. I took something called Vermox which is a one time dose to kill any parasites. I also took maybe only 2 days worth of Pankreoflat.

    I just want to know if these can do any damage to the baby.

    Should I be concerned about taking Zofran in my third trimester? I worry about the effects on my baby.

    I have been able to decrease the amount I take to 2 mg. before going to bed at night to keep me from vomiting the following day. Without the Zofran, I am unable to keep anything down.

    My husband and I have just found out that I am 12-14 weeks pregnant with our first child. This has been completely unplanned as I for the last 2 years have been taking Methotrexate for Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, my dose is 20mg per week taken via an injection format.

    When I was originally prescribed the drug we were told that under no circumstances should I think about having children without having come off it for at least 6 months. This was not an issue to us so we had planned our lives around just being the two of us.
