Toddlers may have to rely on grown-ups to teach them how to tie a shoe and use the potty, but when it comes to knowing how to sit, stand, bend and walk with ease, we can take our cues from these agile little ones.
It's really not surprising that at one time or another, every individual will suffer from back pain. After all, our backs are involved in every thing we do. Injuries resulting from improper body movements and other forms of non-traumatic causes, which make up the majority of back pain cases, can often be prevented.
We have a tendency to think of movement as starting from the limbs. If we reach out to grab something or step forward, we think of those motions as originating with the end result -- we've reached out; therefore, we've used our arms.
