Does Soy and Soy Products Negatively Affect Fertility and Preconception Time?

Tania Tod's picture

This question might be interesting for vegans consuming soy products, and generally people who eat soy and are trying to conceive a baby.

Connection between soy and infertility or decreased fertility is somehow cemented in my mind, I am not sure why, but there must be a reason, right?

So, I decided to make a little “research”, and in this article I have listed the main premises I have learned. I hope you will enjoy reading it, and perhaps learn something new.

Ideas For Introducing Soya Milk?

Dear Lactation Consultant,
Hi. Coral has started this strange thing while nursing. It just started a month ago and I am not sure if it's do to the heat or she is just too busy now. I will lay her on her side in my lap to nurse and she wiggles off and stands at the foot of the couch in front of me and nurses while standing. I am sitting on the couch and she is standing in front of me. The first time she did it all I could do was laugh and say this is now a self serve pump. I am not worried about it. I just think it's funny.

Good Fats for a 14-month-old

Dear Nutritionist,
Hi. My 14-month-old son, who has a dairy allergy, is a very picky eater. I know fats are good for babies so I've been trying to get him to eat veggies cooked in olive oil, peanut butter, etc. But he hates veggies, squishes his PBJs and loathes avocado. He thrives on crackers and other dry foods (has some texture issues as well). How can I get fats into him?
