Dear Ms Ultrasound,
I'm expecting my 5th child in June and have been told the baby's stomach is measuring quite big and that I have to have another scan at 32 weeks but thats all I was told.

My husband and I are very worried because this has never happened in the previous pregnancies and no one we know seems to know what it could be its a long time until the next scan.

Is there anything you could tell us about what may be the cause of this apart from this I've had no problems in this pregnancy so far

Hi. I had my lmp about Dec 16, could be a few days later. I have 30-33 day cycles. HPT was positive 1/14 HCG level was 18 that day HCG was 67 1/16 319 1/19 and 1528 1/22 had an u/s 1/23 because of slight pain and pressure on right side ( had an ectopic on right side FEB 08 and had lap surgery kept my tubes). Had a miscarriage at 5 1/2 weeks August 08.

I recently had my 20 weeks ultrasound and need some advice. The doctor informed me that my daughters' femurs are measuring small for her age. He said that he wasn't 'overly concerned' but thought we should get it checked out.

My wife went for her 2nd trimester ultrasound last week. So far, everything has been great, including nothing being found from a quad screen. Per the doctor at the perinatal center, everything came back "reassuring", but he did note that the lateral ventricle was at 8.5mm, which is high but below the extreme end of normal (10mm). He's asked that we have another ultrasound in 4-6 weeks.
