Dear Ms Ultrasound,
I have been told by one doctor that there is evidence of the cord around the fetal neck. But when I checked with other doctors they said it is not possible to see cord in normal ultrasound if not done in color.
I want to know the limits of ultrasound. Is it possible to see cord in black ultrasound or does it have be done in color to see the cord.
Dear Ms. Ultrasound,
I have a history of irregular cycles (and diagnosed with PCOS), so using my lmp to date my pregnancy was not an option. My LMP was June 26th, 2008.
I took 3 home pregnancy tests prior to a Dr's appointment.. The first one was 6 weeks after my lmp (August 7th- it came back negative) the second was taken on August 12th (negative) and the third was taken August 24th (it came back positive).
Dear Ms. Ultrasound,
I found out I was pregnant on Dec 1 of 2008. I had an ultrasound performed on Dec 11. I was told then, that I was 8 weeks and 2 days pregnant. A heartbeat was revealed that day as was the yolk.
Dear Midwife,
Are sonogram due dates always accurate?
Every time I get a sonogram, they change my due date. And I don't know if I'm 7 and a half or 8 and a half months. Is there any way I can know how far along I am without a sonogram? Is there anything I can do to know?
I had a ultrasound 2 days ago and it said I was six weeks instead of ten weeks as I originally thought. I have irregular periods. How accurate is this result?
Dear Midwife,
I am at eight weeks according to my u/s. Dating by my LMP put me at seven weeks. I had my first ultrasound six weeks past LMP and measured 6w6d.
Dear Ms Ultrasound,
I was told by my midwife at 18 weeks that we are having a boy. She saw the scrotum. At 20 weeks I was told that I am having a girl due to seeing the 3 lines. How do I know whom to believe.
Dear Ms Ultrasound,
I am due September 12, 2005. I had 3 very vivid girl dreams but my mom said, "No, I had a dream it was a boy." Well, after that I figured, "Yeah, it's probably a boy because my husband's family is nothing but boys.
