  • Gaining Too Much Weight

    QUESTION

    Dear Nutritionist,
I'm 23 years old and currently pregnant with my first. I'm frustrated and need your help! I have already gained a lot of weight and I'm only 6 months pregnant.

I started out at a BMI of 18.5. I have gained 30 lbs, and I know that there is a lot more weight that comes at the end of the pregnancy. I don't know what to do because my diet is healthy, and I am most certainly not over eating! I eat fresh fruits and vegetables as often as I can, whole wheat cereals with skim milk for breakfast, and I don't eat fatty, greasy, or other foods that are bad.
