  • Infertility Roller Coaster

The roller coaster ride really did mirror infertility treatment for me and many others. I would do something that terrified me, that wreaked havoc on my body and my mind for my child. I would take what I perceived as a personal risk for her. When I knew I couldn't handle the roller coaster anymore I chose another ride, hoping that different ride would work.

  • Amanda's Journey -- Week 5

Boy have I missed writing in here for over a week. Our vacation was nice. It was so much fun to see all the kids together. Boy was the noise level in that house LOUD! Three 2-year-olds and a 7-year-old in one room can give anybody a headache.

  • Wishin' & Hopin' & Prayin'....

I can't remember the rest of the words to the song (to my blog title), but it's exactly how I feel when it comes to trying to have a baby. This is my first blog entry ever. I thought I would do this to get my feelings out there because I can't quite find a blog from someone who has gone through what I have. Maybe by doing this I will connect with someone who understands what I'm going through. All of the fertility blogs I have read are either by someone who has gone through far worse than I have, or someone who was infertile when I started reading, but is now blissfully pregnant.

  • TTC #1 - "We are each of us angels with only one wing..."

"...And can fly only by embracing each other."

I'm Lindsay. I'm 25. My DH, Jeremy, is 26, almost 27. I'm at the end of my 10th cycle. It's depressing, and I'm pretty sure AF will show up soon. I'm hoping for a longer LP since my signs for PMS showed so early. Who knows. Maybe I'll get lucky and end up pregnant, but I doubt it. My chart isn't looking good. I wouldn't know what pregnancy feels like because I've never been pregnant. I can only compare what I feel to PMS by saying that it's similar. But isn't is similar EVERY month? Basically, the answer to this is simply yes.
