Dear Ms. Ultrasound,
I had a ultrasound and they said I'm having a girl but I'm carrying like I did with my son. With both my girls I carried real high this time real low. They said when they checked the sex of the baby there are two white streaks where they say the labia is. That there is no way it could be a boy. Is that true ? Do those white lines mean a girl?
Dear Ms. Ultrasound,
The ultrasound technician during my supposed 11th week said she thought I was at 13 weeks because of the size of the baby. She also said she thought with 80% certainty that it was a boy.
Can one really tell the sex of the baby during the 11th-13th week of pregnancy? Thanks.
Dear Ms. Ultrasound,
Yesterday my wife and I saw her OB/GYN and he made an interesting observation while doing an ultrasound. He said he wasn't positive, but it looks like the baby is a boy. She is only 10 weeks pregnant...is it possible? Looking at the ultrasound (and we have pictures) there definitely is a mass in between the baby's legs...
Dear Ms Ultrasound,
I got pregnant with my first child in 1997 -- 4 years after my father had passed. After what felt like a thousand tests and ultrasound and heartbeats I was told I was having a boy. I had a midwife at the time and was supposed to have birth in a beautiful place called Babies by the Lake.
I've become a little obsessed about the baby's gender. I spend a lot of time online looking at different websites that "guarantee" you'll know your baby's gender, if only you'll send them a couple of hundred dollars, and some of your blood.

We found out it's a ... surprise! It was so confusing! When we first got there, the technician showed us three lines, definitely a labia shot! Well then, at the end, she showed us something between the legs and said, "Wait a minute..."
I am now 23-weeks pregnant. I haven't had an ultrasound scan yet. I am planning to take a scan after going to India at about 26-weeks pregnant. Is it okay to have a scan at that time?
Dear Ms Ultrasound,
I'm 17-weeks pregnant and had a level II ultrasound. We asked to be told the sex of the baby and the tech said 3 times, "I think its a boy but the cord is lined up with the penis so I can't be sure. If it were a girl, I would see 3 white lines and I don't see that.

Dear Ms Ultrasound,
Hi, Jane. I was wondering how accurate ultrasounds are at 16 weeks. I had just turned 16 weeks on the day of the ultrasound exam. Are the sonographers accurate with the baby's gender at that time?

As pathetic as this sounds I do believe that the stool softeners are my new favorite medicine! After being on the pills for a few days, that ache I was feeling has gone away. Hurray! I am so thankful it wasn't anything serious.
