I went for an ultrasound today..The doctor said the baby looked fine, had a good heartbeat, and the spine looked good..The only thing is he couldn't see the internal organs.

Should I be worried about anything?. He is sending me for a level 2 ultrasound. Is that alot better?

A generous friend helped us get an ultrasound at about 4 weeks...our first view of the baby! Sort of, anyway...if you squint and turn your heard, the baby is the slightly lighter colored blob inside the bigger blob :P

Dear Ms. Ultrasound,
I went for my first prenatal appointment at 6w3d, based on LMP. The MD could not see as sac transvaginally, but did find one transabdominally, however there was no presence of a fetal pole or yolk sac. The doctor did not do any measurements, nor did she take a blood draw. A diagnosis of a blighted ovum was given and a referral for a D and C.

I understand that this is likely not a viable pregnancy, but what would cause a sac to be seen abdominally and not vaginally? I thought it would be the opposite at this early a stage?

Dear Ms. Ultrasound,
My 17 week ultrasound showed a white marker on baby's heart. My doctor says its a marker for down syndrome however my blood work suggest baby's risk of getting DS is extremely low. My 23rd week ultrasound was recently done and the marker is still present along w/ new findings of fluid in both baby's kidneys. My husband and I were told these 2 findings could possibly go away on there own and pose no threat or abnormalities.

I had an Ultrasound today and I am 5 weeks and 4 days. They couldn't really see much but the tech said she saw 2 lines next to the yolk. They tested my blood and are testing it again in 2 days. Does this mean there is twins?? I'm going crazy and I don't go back for a week and a half.. Longest week of my life LOL

There is discrepancy of 4 weeks in fetal age according to limbs measurement and other body parameters.

Please tell me what is it? in a corner written (small limbs). I had also bleeding in start of pregnancy." is all normal?
