  • E! TV Host Giuliana Rancic to Undergo Double Mastectomy

Less than a month after undergoing a lumpectomy for breast cancer, E! TV host, Giuliana Rancic will undergo a double mastectomy.

  • So confused...wishing it was easier

I know my body pretty well. I know the symptoms before my period starts. My breasts usually become tender and sometimes swell a bit a few days before I begin.

  • Finally feel like I'm able to do something!

So my husband and I had our first visit with our midwife today regarding trying to get pregnant a little more aggressively. This step has done wonders for my hope and spirit. My husband and I are excited and a little nervous. My hubby has to do the whole semen analysis first thing in the am and then we are starting on both Clomid and Metformin.

  • Sonogram

I have never had a sonogram before, so of course whenever the doctor said, "Remove everything below the waist," it only made sense to ask if she meant shoes as well. When she said it was my choice, as she was leaving the room, I hurriedly removed all garmets, placing my cold callused, unpainted toenails in the stirups. My first prenatal appointment, and I'd asked a dumb question in the first minute of being in the presence of a woman who could potentially deliever my baby someday. The journey begins....

  • Excited about getting pregnant but also SCARED OUT OF MY MIND!!!

I'm 29yrs old, and as you can see by the subject line, I'm both excited and scared out of my mind about pregnancy. My boyfriend and I have been together for 7.5 years, and have recently made the decision that it's time for children to make an appearance in our lives. Since coming to this mutual agreement, I haven't been able to think about anything else. The day we discussed starting a family involved coming up with names...and how we're going to rearrange our apartment. I've been so excited about it, that I've told all of my family that we're going to be trying in the near future.

  • Birth to Babies

Hey, everyone. It's me, Julia. You might not know me, but I'm a 17 year old mother to twins. Yikes.

I just gave birth on Sunday, and here's the story. I cut out parts to shorten it. I don't want to bore you. ;)

    ~ ~ ~

    It's Happening

I sat on the couch, watching Say Yes to the Dress with my boyfriend, who had fell asleep within the first few minutes, when I felt a kick. "Aw," I thought, giggling to myself. But they came again. And again, getting more and more intense, until I was shaking my boyfriend and said the those two words:

    It's time.

  • great!@$%!

well 2 weeks ago after getting appointment for RE - I decided to contact my insurance to find out what was covered in my plan- I was told I did not need get pre approval that my dr's office would - they told me unlimited coverage.

  • Pre-Conception Appt.

Today i went in for my preconception appointment. i absolutely love the OB, i feel so comfortable with her!! She prescribed me a prenatal vitamin, but when i went to Walgreens to get the prescription, the total price was $45.00!! Usually my Rx are like 4.00. Should i take an OTC one, are those as good as the Rx ones?? What are the best OTC brands and what are the prices??
