Five Home Tests Showed Positive

Dear Midwife,
On Friday I bought an hpt. I took it (1:30pm) and it came back positive with a very dark line. Then I waited some hours later (8pm) and took another one but this time the line was very light and around (9:35pm) I took another one -- the same thing. I waited until the next morning and took 2 more and those lines where very light as well. I went to the hospital and took one on Monday and their test came back negative.Can you please tell me what's wrong. I have been trying for 8 years now. I been having the symptoms left and right.

I recently was having flu-like vomiting for about 3 days. My mother suggested I take a home pregnancy test and it came out pregnant! I was so excited I though it was too good to be true so I took two more. They all came out with the pregnant results and my husband and I couldn't be happier.However I hadn't missed my period yet I was 5 days away from missing it. When I called the Dr. to set up an appointment the nurse told me that I had to wait until I missed my period and basically inferred I got a false positive result.

I am a 25 yr female who is married. I have only had one child who just turned 5.I am wondering about pregnancy tests, I know there is a chance I could be. I was due on the 10th of Jan for my cycle. I know that sometimes there could be an extra day or two for it to start, but its now the 3rd of Feb and no period. I have taken 2 test both negative(took one this morning) and both with morning urine.

Hi I Have just started using opk test strips and heard that these could also be used as an early indication of pregnancy - eg if you got a positive opk test result say 10days after ovulation this could indicate early pregnancy? is this correct? I have three children already but this is the first time I have used the test strips for ovulation prediction,

I'm 22yrs old and had a miscarriage at 12wks in mid September. I had an emergency D&E and lost a lot of blood. Now I am severely anemic and have to take iron 3 times a day. I also have PCOS and didn't think I could get pregnant.Now I am having pelvic cramps, nauseousness, frequent urination and my gut tells me I could be pregnant again. I missed my period. It was supposed to come on the 25th but took a HPT and got a negative this morning.

I am puzzled, because for about 11 weeks my body has felt pregnant, and it was right after we were careless with contraception...believing it was quite safe to have "unsafe" sex because I am breastfeeding my little one day and night. He was around 4 months at the time and now he is 6.The strange thing is that all the pregnancy tests that I have taken has shown negative result. This makes me insecure. I will order a ultrasound but I am curious if this is possible since I am still breastfeeding full time?
