    Dear Midwife,
    How often is an unborn baby supposed to have the hiccups? I am 34 weeks into my pregnancy and it seems like she has them everyday. Is that normal?

    I would like to ask if I should worry cause my first beta test 347.7 2wks into pregnancy 2/3/09, second was 3,332 2/9/09 and two days later I took another beta test. They told me I should double or reach 66% but it came back 4,635.

    Should my numbers be higher at this point?

    Dear Lactation Consultant,
    How long should a baby breastfeed at one sitting to know they are getting enough nutrition? My son is 6 days old and his nursing time varies from 20 minutes to 1 hour total feeding time. I worry when he only eats for 20 minutes, should I be? Is he still getting milk at 1 hour or is he just pacifying at that point? Is it ok to nurse only on one breast at a time rather than switching after a while?

    Dear Ms Ultrasound,
    I had a scan at 8 weeks and they said the fetal heartrate was 180 bpm. I bought a doppler and at 10 weeks the heartrate was 165, at 11 weeks it was 158 and at 12 weeks it was 150. The heart rate seems to be dropping by about 8 bpm a week. Is this normal or is my baby in trouble?

    Hi. I breastfed my son for 1 1/2 years and quit about 6 months ago. I was in the shower this morning and was able to squeeze a little milk from my breast. Is that normal? I thought I would have been all dried up by now. Just curious.
