Grief and Loss

Nurvous

I'm 21 years old, and my boyfriend of almost 4 yrs has a 4 year old son from a past relationship. When we first started dating my Boyfrined and I had unprotected sex and I had gotten an STD. Which I was treated for many times. Now I would love to start a family of my own. I"m pursuing a career in nursing, still in school of course. I just had my period the last week of November and I've been plannning my ovulation and when to have sex and what not. But deep down I am very afriad that it wont be easy for me to have children or even imposible.

Hard times can lead to happy times :-)

I've been through alot of hard times. I had my first baby, Nicholas at 35 weeks, My first daughter, Charlize, was stillborn at 23 weeks, after her I had my second son Lochlan, He was stillborn at 28 weeks. After 2 miscarriages I found out I was pregnant again, and understandably I was very nervous the entire time, I could never relax. I just kept hoping to make it to the next milestone, 12 weeks, 18 weeks, 20 weeks.

Disrespect to the dads

There are so many words of encouragement to all the mothers who have lost a baby but what about the fathers? Is it not half theirs too? What do they get, make sure you take up some of the chores and don't get too freaked out if she bursts into tears. Oh yeah, she may not want to have sex with you because it's a physical reminder to what she lost.
