Weird Symptoms After Starting Birth Control.
QUESTION
Dear Midwife,
I started birth control 1 week and 4 days ago. After the 1st week I felt sick to my stomach like heart burn and it doesn't stop. I've also had terrible head aches, shortness of breathe when working out, and nausea. I don't know what it is or what to do.I am 18 but my mom doesn't know I'm on birth control and I can't find the time to go to planned parent hood to get checked on.

Missed Pills and Early Period

I take the 21 pack of Microgestin and missed two pills in a row (last day of the 2nd week and first day--Sunday--of the 3rd week). I have not found any information online or on the pill package saying what to do in my particular circumstance, especially given that my period started yesterday--Monday, the second day of the 3rd week. It is not light bleeding but a full fledged period. I took two pills on Monday and one pill today. I have not had intercourse and will not this week. I have a quick question. Is it possible to get pregnant while having the IUD Mirena?Mine has slipped and isn't in the proper location but the doctor said not to worry. That was about 2 months ago.
Since December I have gained at least 20 lbs, I'm tired all the time, my breast are huge, and I seem to crave different things then I have in the past. I took a pregnancy test the other day but it was negative. And I don't get a period anymore really. The last one I had was in August. So I'm not really sure what to think. Any thoughts?

I began to spot on December 3 and the bleeding got progressively heavy until December 5th.Was this to be considered my period? My cycles are normal 26 - 28 days and have always been. I began to bleed this morning as scheduled, day 26... Is this my period and the bleeding that occurred on the 3rd, 4th and 5th was just from my IUD being removed?
