Do Pregnancy Tests Lie?

Dear Midwife,
My LMP was the 12th of January and my cycles are 28 days. Today is February 16th and I haven't had my period. I took a test the 12th of February and today. And both are positive for pregnancy.The thing is that my husband is telling me that maybe I'm not pregnant, that we should wait and see the doctor one and a half week from now. He also says that the tests are not accurate and that we shouldn't trust them.
