Maternal anxiety and stress can negatively affect both mom and baby both during the pregnancy and afterward. So this holiday season, get some relaxation tapes, try a little yoga and/or meditation and treat yourself to a massage. Let others take care of the seasonal details.

I am a grad student in an intensive immersion program in the health care field. I just finished my first year and have another year to go...and I just found out I'm 5 weeks pregnant. I'm 30, married to a great guy, and I'm extremely excited and ready to have a baby - in most respects, such as I'm 30, all my friends are having babies, we're financially stable, have a ton of family support, etc...
However, there are a few things I'm nervous about as well...
