  • Tummy measuring bigger than normal

    I went in for my 24 week check up last week and when my ob/gyn measured my tummy it measured in at 29 weeks. This is my second pregancy and my first pregnancy was naturally conceived faternal twins. I have had five ultrasounds and they all show one baby at normal size, but it has been feeling like twins since my fourth month. However, I've never been pregnant with just one so I don't know if what I am feeling is normal for one.

  • Scaring Myself

    Ok, so I am 7 weeks 3 days pregnant (according to the last period I had). I am worrying myself a ton though because I am scared of miscarrying. I had irregular periods before I got pregnant, but the tests say I am pregnant! My husband and I are very excited, though I am very nervous just because I don't feel pregnant. I am not sick, though I have been nausious, but not regularly. I need some comfort!!!

    Today we didn't do much. We woke up early and spent some time cleaning. I am having some anxiety about you today. You have to understand that I want you to be perfect.

  • gender prediction and conception date

    this is my first scan and the tech says is likely a girl because of the three lines.(nena means girl in Spanish). the thing is that i have a problem with the dates. from what i was told if you are 16 weeks pregnant then your baby is 14 weeks approximately from the date of conception. well, my problem is that i was charting and i ovulated 24 days after my period, almost a whole month. does that puts my baby at 13 weeks from the date of conception and thus predicting the gender would be inaccurate?

    Today is Sunday, on Wednesday I thought I had a doctor's appointment. It turned out that it was supposed to have been on Tuesday; and I missed it!
