I hope you can help me with my question as it would really ease my concern.
I am 31 weeks pregnant; the first day of my last menstrual period date was 26 July 26, 2009 and my usual length of menstrual cycle ranges between 28 to 30 days.
I had unprotected sex on August 6th (Day 12) and August 17th (Day 23). I really need to know whether the baby was conceived on the 6th, or the 17th.
Here are the information of my early fetal ultrasounds:
I had my last period at the beginning of January, we are unsure of the date though. We got a positive pregnancy test the first week of February which we were assuming at that point I could've been 3-4 weeks along because we had been charting ovulation.
Dear Midwife,
I just found out I was pregnant 2 weeks after being diagnosed with Diabetes.
I remember having a slight period in December (not sure what the exact date was, but it's usually around the 13th) and I didn't get my January period. My husband and I had been trying to have a baby, so we were excited with the news.
However, at my first prenatal appointment they explained to me that gestational diabetes leads to a large baby. They told me I was 9 weeks, 3 days at my appointment based on the size of the baby on the ultrasound.
Dear Ms. Ultrasound,
I have a history of irregular cycles (and diagnosed with PCOS), so using my lmp to date my pregnancy was not an option. My LMP was June 26th, 2008.
I took 3 home pregnancy tests prior to a Dr's appointment.. The first one was 6 weeks after my lmp (August 7th- it came back negative) the second was taken on August 12th (negative) and the third was taken August 24th (it came back positive).
Dear Ms. Ultrasound,
I'm a 23-year-old mother of 1 and 1 on the way. I had a vaginal ultrasound on 1-29. I was expecting to see a baby and heartbeat. Instead there was an empty sac and the start of what my doctor thought was the yolk. The scan said I was measuring about 6 weeks along and he said I looked more like I was 5& weeks.
Dear Midwife,
I need some help and answers to when I conceived. I had sex with my ex partner after a row with my partner. I have listed all my dates below.
I have irregular periods and hadn't had a period for months, so I went on the pill to help bring them on. I didn't continue with the pill after my period.
Dear Ms. Ultrasound,
Hello! Was hoping for your expert opinion regarding ultrasounds. Is it at all possible that a 9-week gestational age per ultrasound could be off by two weeks? (And I am not confused as to the "missing 2 weeks" in calculating gestational age.)
Basically, in mm or cm, how much bigger is an 11-week pregnancy compared to a 9-week pregnancy?
Dear Ms. Ultrasound,
Hi I need some help on answering a few questions from a professional.
I was on the pill and during my seven day break had sex with an ex partner I got a period 3 days later. Sex took place on the 09th August and had a period on the 12th August.
After my period I didn't continue with the pill as I have irregular periods I only took for a month to get them started as they hadn't come for a few months.
I had my very first ultrasound on the 7th Oct and the lady said I was 6 weeks 2 days, and would have conceived about 4 weeks ago.
Dear Ms. Ultrasound,
I have very irregular periods. My last period was 10/20/2008. The last time my fiancé and I had sex before he left for military leave was 11/15/08.
