If your due date comes, and then goes, you might feel disappointed and frustrated. Know that this isn't at all under your control! Try to make the best of it and keep yourself as distracted as possible.
This baby was a surprise, I had no idea I was pregnant until I did the test to rule it out! I have no idea when my LMP was and when I found out, I thought I was maybe about 8 weeks. I went for my dating scan at what I thought was 12 weeks and they said I was 17 weeks. They gave me a due date of May 27th 2009 from the information they got during the ultrasound.
Dear Ms. Ultrasound,
I have a question. My period comes every month like clock work o.k I had my last period on September 1st on October 6th I took a pregnancy test came back positive based on the first day of my last period my due date was June 8th.
Dear Midwife,
Are sonogram due dates always accurate?
Every time I get a sonogram, they change my due date. And I don't know if I'm 7 and a half or 8 and a half months. Is there any way I can know how far along I am without a sonogram? Is there anything I can do to know?
Dear Midwife,
Boy where to start. I had a miscarriage on may 25th of 2008, this would have been my 2nd child. I found out I was pregnant around mid to late September, I had no idea. I know I didn't have intercourse until about the 16th of June at the earliest.
Unless you have undergone a special procedure such as artificial insemination or in vitro fertilization, it is difficult to know the exact date of conception.

It's easy to forget that Sarah's due date was an estimate -- not an appointment. Yet we put that due date on the calendar, and it has been imprinted on our brains for months. When the day came and went, and we still had no baby, we felt betrayed.
Meanwhile, Sarah tried to watch the movie, but she's constipated, so she gets up to go to the bathroom every few minutes with weird stomach cramps, and I have to keep pausing it. Finally, she told me to just keep the movie going, and disappeared into the bathroom for good.

Since the "clock" started on day 1 of a woman's menstrual cycle, on day 14 she is technically considered 2 weeks pregnant! This is the most important piece of the dating puzzle when it comes to figuring out a conception date.
